    Our Atlas was serviced back in October. Aside from seeking an inspection sticker and routine service, it was noticed that there was an oil leak. At the time of service, I was told that they were unable to do an inspection sticker because of the issue. My Massachusetts inspection sticker was due at the beginning of November. My understanding is that there is a part on backorder, but it’s been several weeks now. I am currently driving around on an expired Inspection sticker. Aside from that, I’ve had oil leaking in my driveway and as a result, I’m now parking on the lawn of my house. I understand that parts can be on backorder, but the fact that I’m leaking oil and unable to get an inspection sticker is growing more unsettling. I called and spoke with Sean from the service department and asked about a loaner while waiting for the part to come in, but was told that it is not a possibility. When purchasing the vehicle, I also purchased an extended warranty. I purchased this for peace of mind. Although this issue is covered through the original warranty, it’s disappointing that I’ve paid for a product and continue to to pay for a product that is now inconveniencing me and my family. I’m going to soon go and attempt to get an inspection sticker elsewhere and hope it passes. If not, I’ll be driving around with a rejected sticker because Volkswagen has been unable to get the needed part. To note, this is the third vehicle that I’ve purchased from this particular dealership, and fifth Volkswagen in total that I’ve owned.
